Contractor Application

Requirements the Comfort Ready Home Contractor Must Agree To:
1. Maintain all state and locally required licenses and insurance coverage as applicable (i.e. Construction Contractors Board (CCB), State license if required by law or regulations, worker’s compensation, general liability (residential coverage), and automobile liability). Comply with all applicable employment laws.
2. Conduct all business in an ethical and professional manner.
3. Ensure company and employees complete all work in accordance with applicable ordinances, codes, and accepted industry standards, including the Program's network of Contractors and BPA's standards.
4. Ensure company accurately and completely records all jobs and submits required project paperwork to the utility program meeting its requirements.
5. Contractor search listing is at the discretion of participating utilities.

Applicant agrees that BPA, the Program, regional utilities, public benefits administrators, and Evergreen Consulting Group, LLC (the “Identified Entities”) are not endorsing Applicant or endorsing or warranting any equipment sold or installation completed by Applicant. Under no circumstances shall the Identified Entities be liable to Applicant or any third party for any direct or indirect losses, costs or damages arising from Applicant’s participation in the Network or related to any equipment or installation of energy efficient projects; Applicant specifically indemnifies the Identified Entities from any claims arising from Applicant’s participation in the Program or relating to any of the Applicant’s installations or projects.

Applicant agrees to represent itself as an independent contractor or business and at no time will Applicant represent itself as an agent or representative of any of the Identified Entities.
Applicant understands that this Program participation agreement may be terminated by the Program or BPA for any reason, at any time. Termination is effective upon written notice being delivered to Applicant at the Applicant address or via email.
